On Thursday August 11th, 2005, this collision changed the Mets 2005 season. Mike Cameron, the one with 44 on his back (an ex-center fielder), and Carlos Beltran, the oe with the sunglasses (the present center fielder) both went head-first to attempt to catch a sinking liner. Usually on a fly ball, someone calls for the ball and the other player backs up the play. But sometimes plays happen so quickly there is no time to think, no time back off.
This was one of the worst collisions in any sport, definelty in baseball. Cameron suffered a concussion was taken away on a stretcher and was hospitalizied for a week and a half. Luckily now his healthy is progressing. Last night he was able to go to home plate and switch lineup cards with the oppossing team.
Carlos Beltran, a $117 million free agent signing who has played well underpar to this point, was collected enough after the hit to come off the field with his own power. Less than a week later, 4 games actually, Beltran was back on the field, with no remembering of what happened, as if the collision never happened.
Well this has happened to me. A collision, one a victim, another who was able to recover without even having any recollection.
Well for the Mets, they changed some players, changed people's roles and for the past two weeks have played well, played inspired.
Lets see if I will fair as well.

Interesting. Whoever is the one with no recollection is the one with lesser brain cells, which would in fact explain why they can't remember. Whoever is the victim, made themselves believe it, and then others believed it. I would say its best not to be either the one with less brain cells, or the one who pities themself. What thinks you fatty? Which one is you? yea let me know.
If you were to recover without any recollection, what's stopping you from making that collision again? Or being cautious against future collisions?
